PlayDate Atlanta Explodes into the New Year with Record Attendance for First Playdate Event of 2014

ATLANTA - Jan. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- On Saturday, January 25, 2014 Imari Havard and the PlayDate Atlanta Crew welcomed nearly 500 “PlayDaters” to the Hotel Capitol Park Atlanta for the first PlayDate Atlanta event of 2014. Adults of all ages were welcomed with a vast array of board games including Dominoes, UNO, giant-sized Connect Four and more.  In addition to traditional board games, PlayDaters were invited to play interactive video games on the Wii, Xbox and PlayStation; participate in Hula Hoop contests with the hosts, as well as revisit their childhood with PlayDate Signature Games like Musical Chairs and Simon Says.

Advanced tickets for PlayDate Atlanta were sold out in record time with additional tickets being sold at the door resulting in an attendance record that exceeded expectation.

“While PlayDate events have witnessed upwards of 1000 guests at times, this event was a leap forward for January…” says founder and creator Imari Havard.

Guests were able to partake in a fun and exciting atmosphere with great food and amazing cocktails while socializing and meeting new people.
