LAS VEGAS - Jan. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Trifecta Gallery in the Las Vegas Arts District celebrates 10 years with a 32 artist group show February 6-28, 2014. The group of artists were chosen to illustrate an evolution of ten years of programming. The roster in Past, Present, and Future includesLee Bakofsky, J W Caldwell, Selina Davenport, Sam Davis, Philip Denker, Austin Dickson, Andreana Donahue, Jack Endewelt, Anthony Freda, Susan Futrell, Abigail Goldman, Eric Joyner, Angela Kallus, Alisha Kerlin, Jen  Klevin, Wendy Kveck, Edith Lebeau, Su Limbert, Leonardo Aguirre di Matteo, Dylan Mortimer, Enrique Nevarez, Kathie Olivas, Kristen Peterson, Tom Pfannerstill, Victoria Reynolds, Amy Sol, Jim Stanford, Erin Stellmon, Anna Tillett, Todd VonBastiaans with Bryan McCarthy, Mary Warner, Casey Weldon, and Thomas Willis.

“Visitors can form an assessment of Trifecta Gallery based on this varied exhibit and we will learn from it in much the same way as a history lesson.” says Marty Walsh, the owner of the gallery. “The current artists are selected through our experience with past artists.” Ten years in the Las Vegas Arts District is a long time, but Walsh claims it doesn’t feel like 10 years at all. “The changing forces of the area have energized, amused, fueled, and verified to us that this is where we belong“.  Walsh carefully revises her programming to keep in step with what’s been learned while maintaining the gallery’s ethos and mission.

The gallery began as a group effort between 3 artists sharing a studio space in the Arts Factory. Every First Friday of the month the studio was transformed into a gallery space for a day. Later Walsh left the group, rented a small 250 sq. ft. space down the hall, and officially became Trifecta Gallery in July of 2004. By 2010, with the help of dedicated interns and staff the gallery outgrew itself and relocated into its present 1200 sq. ft. space at the front of the Arts Factory.
