ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - Jan. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- As our veterans come home and transition into civilian life, Microsoft and New Horizons Computer Learning Centers of Southern California (NHSoCal) are collaborating to help our nation’s heroes in appreciation for their time, commitment, and service to our country.

While supplies last, any Veteran who enrolls in a training program for MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) at NHSoCal will be awarded a Microsoft Surface RT. This generous offer facilitates a smooth learning and study environment for veteran students and encourages job searching and business skills needed to be marketable and professional in the workplace.  Veteran employees are assets in the workplace as a result of their dedication, perseverance, passion, and adaptability to any environment.

NHSoCal and Microsoft bring official and industry leading training to prepare students for a career in the growing IT marketplace. Over the course of the next 10 years, CNN Money projects jobs in the IT fields will increase by 53%, however the number of IT professionals is only growing at a rate of 1.4 (Gartner IT Symposium).

Microsoft’s support of NHSoCal and the elite training provider in the Western Region of the United States has excelled at the training for Microsoft platforms, integrations, maintaining and users effectiveness. As our veteran community increases on the home front, NHSoCal is adamant about helping these men and women transition into successful careers.
