Jo Jo Harder is the founder of America’s Top Dog Model ® Contest, establishedin 2005 and headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida. It is a national search for topdogs that make a difference™. Now in its ninth season, the competition was created for people to celebrate the union that humans share with their canine companions. Drawing on her experience as a fashion designer, stylist, former model, author of Diva Dogs: A Style Guide to Living a Fabulous Life (BowTie, 2008), Harder’s new guide highlights insider information on modeling, agencies, training, grooming, and features a peek into the lifestyles of America’s Top Dog Models.®

The inaugural America’s Top Dog model ® Golden Paw Awards took place at Dynamic TV Studio in Boyton Beach, Florida in front of a live studio audience for a reality TV series now in development.

The ceremony, which included a reception and canine walks down the red carpet, honored fifteen winners and finalists who, with the aid of their humans, have supported community events and charities nationwide.
