SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Jan. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- John Valenti, a licensed real estate salesperson with Coldwell Banker Prime Properties in Fayetteville, New York, has merged his already successful real estate business, with the CNY Agent Team of Coldwell Banker. John will act as a managing team leader with Bob McTague, who founded the team in 2009.

This business deal, which was finalized in January 2014, will strengthen the brand recognition and market position of the CNY Agent Team. John Valenti brings a wealth of real estate knowledge to the team. He has over 15 years of real estate investment experience, new home construction and development experience, and waterfront property expertise. His specialty is servicing seller and buyer clients with lake and river front properties, and markets properties on Oneida Lake, Lake Ontario, Finger Lakes, Skaneateles Lake, Cazenovia Lake, and Oswego River.

We caught up with this busy real estate professional and asked him about his new business venture.

What made you decide to merge with the CNY Agent Team?

A lot of people, especially my fellow real estate community asked that same question. First off, this was a business decision. Secondly, Bob McTague and the CNY Agent Team has something that most do not have in this industry. They have effective systems driven by technology. I must admit, I am not tech savvy. But, it is not just about technology, it is about helping buyer and sellers in a different way through the systems and technology. I wanted to align myself with the best. And they are the best at what they do. Bob and his team have been extremely successful with lead generation and niche marketing. I feel that it can only help my clients and strengthen my abilities as an agent.

What are you goals for 2014?

We have set some pretty high goals for the team. We are projecting to close $40 to $50 Million in volume in the next 12 months. 350 to 450 sales. We are looking to accomplish this through the right agents, utilizing the right systems. I feel that this can be accomplished with a 10 agent team or less. We are building a team of strong, like minded agents.

The CNY Agent Team closed 160 sales in 2013 for roughly $23 Million is volume. Combined, both John and the CNY Agent team helped 200 buyers and sellers in 2013, for $31 Million in total volume.
