Motorcycle Raffle Raises Funds for Good Cause

Motorcycle Raffle to benefit The Southwest Florida Goodwill Foundation

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Jan. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Want to try your luck at winning a custom Harley Sportster? One can be yours when you enter a raffle from Everglades Motorcycle Service to benefit The Southwest Florida Goodwill Foundation.

“We took this motorcycle, which was donated to Goodwill,” says Michele Huscher-Spratlin owner of Everglades Motorcycle Service. “We took it down to its frame and really took the time refreshing it and powder coating it. It’s very custom, very old school now.”

The sportster now has new tires, seat, handlebars, hoses, wiring, levers, throttle and idle cables, headlights, fork legs and much more. Alternative Coatings powder coated the wheels, fender, gas tank, side cover and other visible parts of the bike.  Fort Myers Harley-Davidson also donated an initial evaluation of the motorcycle.

“We love what Everglades has done to this bike,” says Goodwill spokesperson Madison Mitchell. “Michele, her partner Lynn Wannemacher and their team put a lot of time and work into this. The raffle will be a big help to us providing Goodwill’s programs and services across Southwest Florida.”

The drawing for the bike will be held at Everglades Motorcycle Service (3888 Mannix Drive #316, Naples, FL) on February 21 at 4:30 p.m. The suggested donation for tickets is one for $20 or three for $50.

Tickets are available Tuesday-Saturday at Everglades Motorcycle Service. Everglades will also be displaying the bike and selling raffle tickets at Pelican RV Resort in Naples Jan 24-26.

For more information on the motorcycle call Everglades Motorcycle Service at (239)649-4362 or visit www.facebook.com/EvergladesMotorcycleService.
