UXBRIDGE, U.K. - Jan. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- "I gotta get out of here - this job is killing me." Or "I need to get out of here - this job is killing me."

What is the difference? There is a huge difference between the search for a job in the area in which you have experience and search for a new career.

The desire to escape from the area you are working is not uncommon. Perhaps you're a teacher and find a new job in another Primary school near your area. The bad news is that it is typically 500 times more difficult than to find a job in the same field. The good news is, however, that the change of area can be exciting, empowering and possible - if you carefully plan your strategy and plan yourcampaign.

However, before you jump, make sure you want to change the area. Take the following 10 steps are characteristic of a successful career change to make sure that you really want to do.

- Studied and have read enough to know how your interests and skills fit into a new area

- You have heard the comments of people who work in this area that you are sure to be happy doing it

- You already have most of the skills needed to work in a new area, even though you have some areas still unclear

- You've explored this area of work and relevant organizations on the Internet and you like what you see

- Do you have contacts in that area that you are willing to introduce people from different organizations

- You have a clear view of the area that you have gained through professional journals

- Your family supports you at this point - or at least not sabotage your efforts

- His acquaintances have said that you want to change careers, presented them your talents and limitations, and they are approved

- You have investigated enough to know the advantages and disadvantages of the area and still want to try it.

- Experience, satisfaction, and lifestyle associated with this new area meet your goals. In other words, you are going to something, before you run out of the current deal.

How do you respond?

10: On the right path and doomed to success!

Less than 10: Perhaps you are thinking about changing career without having done the necessary self-assessment. Go back to the list and find the steps that you need to work on.

Changing careers can be very fun. Just be sure that you have prepared a good plan based on this list of steps.
