Testronic Appoints New Operations Director
Chris Rowley joins Testronic from his role as head of QA at Electronic Arts
Testronic has recently seen fourfold growth in both functionality and localisation testing for an increasing number of clients. Staff numbers rose to above 400 in 2013 and that is expected to increase significantly in 2014.
Chris comments, “The video games industry is not only the biggest in the world of entertainment but it is also becoming the most professional. Publishers and developers want their games to be absolutely perfect when they launch them to consumers, and Testronic helps them do just that. I’ve had several opportunities to move to the outsourcing side of the testing business but I wouldn’t have moved for any company other than Testronic.”
Dominic Wheatley, CEO of Catalis, (Testronic’s parent company) said, “We are delighted to have Chris Rowley join us at this really exciting time. We’re experiencing a huge demand for our first class games testing services and Chris has the technical knowledge and management skills to take us to the next level and meet that demand.”
