LAS VEGAS - Jan. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- The Chairman continues to forge ahead uniting Nevada’s Republican Party and widening consensus. McDonalds long time motto of “Unity begins with U-N-I is working. The Chairman has successfully garnered the help of Governor Brian Sandoval to bring Chairman McDonalds vision of Las Vegas hosting the Republican Convention in 2016 to a reality.

This is good news for the Nevada Republican Party. The members welcome help from Governor Sandoval who has been reluctant to participate with the County Parties for quite some time. Many see this as a big first step for the Governor and the County Parties to renew a strong working relationship for the upcoming 2014 elections.

Sandoval and McDonald have had somewhat of a rocky relationship, including the Governors support of an attempt to oust McDonald as Chairman in February 2013. The attempt was futile with members who support McDonald overwhelmingly.  McDonald doesn’t seem to be shaken by the actions of the Governor’s participation to replace him as Chairman, but instead continues to reach out to all of Nevada’s elected officials, including the Governor, to come together for the win in 2014. Party members are very satisfied with McDonald’s leadership, especially bringing the Governor to the table to host the 2016 convention. Governor Sandavol is currently marketing a new video in favor of Las Vegas hosting the 2016 Republican Convention. Looks like McDonalds unity message is starting to take hold and this is good news for Republicans.
