Midlands born actor commences filming in America
The rising star will play character Julius Cooper, the mysterious assistant, in the new film written by M.D. Morris.
Craig Edwards said “I am really looking forward to getting started on this project.
“It is a great opportunity and exciting to be playing a key role in such an interesting movie.”
The film is described to be the next ‘Twilight’
The story aims to expose the shocking level of sexual abuse endured by women in the US military and explore the lives of female street gangs.
After only one year in the film industry the young actor already has a large fan base that is growing rapidly, particularly in the United States and Canada as well as France, South America, Russia and Australia.
“I am overwhelmed and so appreciative of all the support I am receiving,” said Edwards.
Filming for ‘The Daughters of Hustle’ is set to continue throughout 2014 and the release date is still to be confirmed.

Craig Edwards was born in the Midlands in 1993. At the age of 16, Edwards began modelling. After much success in the industry with roles varying from fitness modelling to clothing commercials, Edwards decided to shift his focus towards his acting career in 2012.
Edwards said “Modelling wasn't really for me in the end. Then I remember watching a Bond film one night years ago and thinking ‘I want to do that.’”
Edwards was quickly cast in lead roles for a number of short films such as ‘Fools Gold’ and his fan base is rapidly increasing with a strong following on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
The young actor was supported to play the role of Christian Grey in the screen adaptation of global sensation novel ‘50 shades of Grey.’ Edwards was also approached by the makers of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ as a potential candidate to star in the popular series. As such, he has been described as Britain’s answer to Taylor Lautner.
This year also sees the production of ‘Earth Metal 1 – Epic of Manas’ a movie to be filmed in New Zealand. Here Edward features as the lead character ‘Manas.’ The sci-fi drama features Manas discover a conspiracy between American industrialist David Koch and Corporate China to take control of Central Asia.
Edwards is also in the production process for a series of fitness videos to be posted on a personal Youtube channel whilst continuing his passion to help global charities through The Craig Edwards Project (TCEP).
TCEP is a non-profit project that aims to bring awareness to and generate money for existing charities. TCEP plan to launch a line of home accessories later this year with a percentage of the profits being donated to specific charities (still to be confirmed.) Film 'Earth Metal 1 - Epic of Manas' will also be involved with TCEP in helping to support various humanitarian causes.
Edwards is inspired by actors such as Will Smith and Ian Somerhalder.
“They are both fantastic versatile actors,” said Edwards in a recent interview.
“I aim to match their talent in my work.”
