K2 Skis’ Annex Line Optimizes Freeride Performance

With tip and tail taper that is directly proportional to the amount of rocker in each model, the Annex 98, 108 and 118 excel when pointed down the fall line. Burly wood core construction, along with a metal laminate on the narrower 98 and 108 to increase stiffness, allows skiers to confidently rip the entire mountain, in-bounds and out, in aggressive freeride fashion. The new Seth features a progressively stiff flex with the most tip and tail taper of all Annex models for stability at high speeds and on variable snow. With its 50 percent rocker, 50 percent camber Baseline profile, reliable float and predictable turns in deep snow are guaranteed.

With similar stability, but less width than the Annex 118, is the Annex 108. Ideal for skiers looking to spend time in the powder, but return to the groomers for the occasional lap, this directional machine allows skiers to not just descend confidently, but flash any run while maintaining control. Featuring a long and low All-Terrain Rocker, a metal construction and a slight tail Rocker, the 108 is maneuverable in tight trees and chutes for unmatched performance.

At home within ski area boundaries or adjacent sidecountry, the Annex 98 offers all-mountain versatility with a firmer snow focus. At 98mm underfoot it holds a solid edge on hard pack and windbuff, but is wide enough to blast through crud and new snow. Featuring a long and low All Terrain Rocker, the ski boasts 30 percent tip rocker for soft snow performance combined with 70 percent camber for power and edge-hold.
