Sunvil Holidays launches new Cyprus brochure
Sunvil Holidays, the longest-established operator to Cyprus, has launched its new-look brochure, packed full of flexible, fully-protected holidays to a comprehensive range of accommodation in the more interesting parts of the island.
New for 2014 is the newly-converted Ktima 1937, a traditional village property located in the pretty mountain village of Droushia, with five tastefully-decorated apartments and a shared pool. The accommodation is located in the unspoilt northwest corner of Cyprus, which boasts a wild coastline, abundant orchards and the Akamas National Park, a treasure trove of rare plants and migratory birds.
Two new villas have also been added to the programme: the spacious and secluded Frene Villa (sleeps 10), located in the village of Geroskipou, near Paphos, with private pool and small children’s play area, is perfect for extended families and large groups. Prices are from £560 pp (four sharing), including seven nights’ self-catering accommodation, flights (Gatwick) and car hire.
For panoramic views over the Akamas coastline, it’s hard to beat the perfectly positioned Lampis Villa (sleeps six). Located at the very end of Neo Chorio village, its entrance guarded by two 200-year-old carob trees, the property offers a private pool, bbq area and vegetable garden, and is a five-minute walk from tavernas and a mini market. Prices are from £505 pp (four sharing), including seven nights’ self-catering accommodation, flights (Gatwick) and car hire.
Sunvil Holidays also welcomes back the four-star Alasia Hotel in Limassol after an extensive refurbishment. Light, modern and beautifully-
No other UK operator to Cyprus offers such variety in accommodation:
Says Alexis Josephides, product manager: “There is much beauty and character, both old and new, to be found on Cyprus and we believe our new brochure showcases the variety and unique heritage that this intriguing island has to offer.
“Our programme in Cyprus continues to set us apart from our competitors. We have had well over 40 years of experience in offering holidays to some of the most untouched areas of Cyprus, and our satisfaction comes from introducing people to the unknown, more subtle side of the island.
Sunvil has always been a pioneer of sustainable tourism, having supported village-based tourism in Cyprus since the 1980s. The company has joined forces with The Travel Foundation and other operators to set up the Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative (CSTI).
The lead-in price is £495 pp (two sharing) for a seven-night stay at Nicolas & Maria’s Cottages in Anogyra on a self-catering basis, including return flights (Gatwick) and car hire.
