DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Jan. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center’s Women’s Care OB/GYN practice has moved into the hospital’s fourth floor at 305 Memorial Medical Pkwy., Suite 400, Daytona Beach.

“This relocation of the Women’s Care OB/GYN office provides patients and their babies with more convenient access to the services available at our state-of-the-art BirthCare Center,” said Becky Vernon, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center Director of Women and Children's Services. “In the new location, patients can take comfort, knowing they are close by and able to receive our BirthCare Center’s high level of care, and should an OB emergency arise, our patients will receive prompt obstetrical care, as the OB physicians are already within the hospital. This is safer for our patients and safer for our babies.”

Women’s Care OB/GYN is the obstetrical practice for Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center that provides obstetrical services, including prenatal care, education and consultation; pregnancy nutrition; gestational diabetes management; pregnancy monitoring; obstetrical ultrasound (including 3D and 4D ultrasound); delivery; and postpartum care. Oftentimes, same-day appointments are available.

Four local and highly-respected OB/GYN’s provide care at this practice, including Dr. Meetesh Desai, Dr. Ricardo Larrain, Dr. Ted Robertson, and Dr. Cecille Tapia-Santiago, who is also the Medical Director for hospital’s BirthCare Center. These four physicians at Women’s Care OB/GYN are the same doctors who will care for patients throughout pregnancy, in addition to delivering the babies and providing care within the hospital.

Women’s Care OB/GYN is accepting new patients and most insurance plans and can be reached at (386) 231-3580.
