Cushman & Wakefield Poised For Further Growth In 2014, Citing New S. Florida Strategic Plan
MIAMI ─ January 16, 2014 –
One of Cushman & Wakefield’s key strategic growth markets, South Florida, delivered on key areas of growth for the world’s largest privately-held commercial real estate services firm last quarter as it continues the roll-out and execution of its South Florida expansion. The firm has been successful recently in hiring and top-grading talent, closing on key transactions, and claiming market share. “We have exciting plans for C&W’s development in South Florida and stand ready to service what is clearly a strong market that rivals most cities in the US,” stated Paul Waters, Cushman’s Senior Managing Director and Market Leader for the region. Waters, who was brought in a year ago to spearhead the firm's robust growth effort, added “C&W is committed to investing significant resources and human capital into South Florida, and we have made substantial progress thus far."
Cushman & Wakefield recently hired Senior Director Tony Jones, Director Michael Feuerman, Director Gordon Messinger, Associate Director Ryan Levy, and Associate Director Danielle Vennett to represent its three South Florida locations: Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. The firm has also been busy with key transactions and assignments of late, representing industrial and office sectors, notably: Futernick Associates - represented by Wayne Ramoski (Miami) and Gian Rodriguez (Miami) in the lease of 98,000 sf at 12300 NW 32nd Ave, Miami, FL. Perez Trading Company, Inc. was the tenant. CP Miami Center, LLC (Crocker) - represented by Jon Blunk (Miami), Cristina Glaria (Miami), and Laurel Oswald (Ft. Lauderdale) in the lease of 10,572 sf at 201 S. Biscayne Blvd., Suite 300, Miami, FL. Vitas Healthcare Corp. was the tenant (and expansion of 10,572 sf in addition to the original lease of 33,357 sf executed in August 2013). CREF Esperante LLC - awarded Mark Pateman (West Palm Beach), Jon Blunk (Miami), Danielle Vennett (West Palm Beach) and Tara England (West Palm Beach) exclusive representation of 256,151 sf in the Esperante Corporate Center, West Palm Beach, FL. Genesis Capital Partners –represented by Jon Blunk (Miami), Cristina Glaria (Miami), and Laurel Oswald (Ft. Lauderdale) in the lease of 14,873 sf at 110 SE 6th Street, Suite 2600, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP was the tenant. RECAP – awarded John Criddle (Ft. Lauderdale), Jon Blunk (Miami), and Mike Davis (Tampa) the exclusive representation of 102,309 RSF at Wells Fargo Plaza 925 S. Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL.
