SAN FRANCISCO - Jan. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- ‘ROAD’ The Retail Design Show Announces Speakers for January 21-31 program at the NWBLK San Francisco

Alu, Inc, producer of ROAD, the Retail Design Show, is pleased to announce the educational program for retail designers and visual merchandisers, happening on January 21- 31 at the NWBLK event space in San Francisco. The NWBLK is located at: 1999 Bryant Street, San Francisco, California 94110. http://www.retaildesignshow.com/

ROAD is the brainchild of Alu CEO Abramo Manfrotto. Frustrated with diminishing returns at traditional trade shows, Manfrotto sought to create an intimate, unique and educational experience for visual merchandisers to arm them with the best tools and knowledge to create evocative retail environments, including lighting, sounds, displays, flooring, mannequins, etc. The best in class of all retail environment elements will be on display at ROAD. In addition, ROAD features an illuminating educational program, chock full of panels and presentations by some of the world’s top trend experts.

“We want to push the boundaries of the tradeshow norm and allow retailers to constantly be inspired in order to keep up with the ever-changing retail and visual merchandising industry.” Abramo Manfrotto, CEO, Alu, Inc.

"With design, arts, retail, and fashion, one tends to look to New York, London, Paris, Milan and many other fine species of regions that have a pension for excellence with these matters. California is truly also a place where I find the most diversity of thought and curiosity in how design, the arts, fashion and retail minds think and execute. There is a renewed spirit of freedom to create in the heart of California that is attracting entrepreneurs. California houses some of the finest and most successful retailers in the world. We have Apple, Tesla, Gap, Levi’s, BCBG Max Azria and so many more. ROAD is breaking barriers and exploring new ways of thinking. It seems fitting that San Francisco would be our first stop." Emmanuelle Linard, Trends Expert, EDELKOORT INC.

ABOUT ‘ROAD’ RETAIL DESIGN SHOW

Conceived over the course of 5 years, ROAD – Retail Design Show (http://www.retaildesignshow.com/) is Abramo Manfrotto’s exploration into how retail has evolved. Manfrotto, CEO of ALU noticed a peculiar thing. Quality decisions that top retail industry executives were charged to make regarding retail design were being hindered. Their companies were suffering due to the lack of the proper components not being readily available in the right place at the right time, in the right atmosphere. The potential of these talented visionaries were delayed.

Over the course of two weeks, ROAD will feature an array of workshops, speeches, demonstrations, and networking opportunities for all invited partners and guests. The synesthesia that will bring together the premier influencers of retail and design. Learn more: http://www.retaildesignshow.com/
