Astrological Year 2014: Why 2014 Will Be ‘The Year of Action’
For many, 2013 was the most challenging year they can remember. According to professional astrologer Anne Nordhaus-Bike, it was the "Year of Feeling," and "forced us to cope with major changes." In 2014, "we will experience the ''Year of Action.'"
This year, most of the planets will occupy the cardinal signs of the zodiac—Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn—Nordhaus-
Parts 1 and 2 Gave Key Dates, Details
The first of her three articles about 2014 focused on the influences of the Sun, the Moon, and Mercury on human behavior. The second installment focused on the influences the planets Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto will have on your life in 2014.
Part 3 Shows How—and When—to Take Action in 2014
The third article will help you make changes in your life that "will sit on a firm foundation and have a much better chance to succeed," Nordhaus-Bike said. "Success depends on being tuned in to planetary energies and using that knowledge to be strategic in your planning, timing, and decisions."
Part 3 gives an astrological overview of the entire year, explains how it is likely to feel as you experience it, and provides ideas on how to work effectively with complex, shifting energies.
For example, Nordhaus-Bike talks about planetary retrogrades and how they will affect your year.
"Planets in retrograde appear to be moving backwards," she explained. "Rather than trying to press forward quickly with new projects, use these retrogrades as opportunities to become much more strategic and prepared for prospering later in the year.
"This article will help you think about how you can express your highest potential in 2014 by focusing on different aspects of your life that coincide with what particular planets affect most," Nordhaus-Bike said.
"Through astrology's timeless wisdom, you can recognize abundant opportunities to understand your true power—especially your spiritual power—and wield it well," she noted. "You will experience a new confidence and authority in helping to shape the coming year."
