CHATHAM, U.K. - Jan. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- As one of the many talented coaches that gain accreditation through the IIC&M, we are delighted to be able to introduce you to Accredited Master Coach Noel Posus.  Noel is a multi-award winning coach changing lives and businesses in over 40 countries across the globe!  He has operated in six of the seven continents of the globe and only has Antarctica left to conquer – we’re sure it won’t be a long time coming!

Noel is one of the most experienced coaches on the planet, with tens of thousands of coaching hours under his belt, and between 150 and 200 hours of ongoing professional development each year.  He has also served on the boards and leadership committees of numerous coaching professional bodies, schools and organisations and has been a master instructor of coaches for over a decade. There are very few coaches with more credentials than Noel!  Like many in our profession, Posus was attracted to coaching to “help people”, but what made this an extraordinary life-direction for him, as he puts it, was:

”I have been fortunate enough to witness people grow in their wisdom. Lots of people can help others set and achieve goals, and that’s great. I was, and continue to be, incredible grateful to help people not only become wiser, and celebrate their wisdom, but also seeing the evidence of them helping others develop their own wisdom and encouraging them to pay that forward. It’s the most remarkable thing I could ever have done with my life, and I will be doing this great work for the rest of mine.”

Noel’s philosophy of coaching and mentoring is that they are designed to enhance the critical thinking of others. Posus links this with the list of basic life skills that the WHO Department of Mental Health and other UN agencies identified as relevant and important for all people, in all cultures and ages, around the world to further develop. These are ”Decision Making and Problem Solving”, ”Creative Thinking and Critical Thinking”, ”Communication and Interpersonal Skills”, Self-Awareness and Empathy”, and ”Coping with Emotions and Coping with Stress”. His policy for approaching these areas is that he will only use scientifically validated evidence-based tools and methods and his track record is fabulous.

Noel’s organisation, Incredible Awareness Pty Ltd, specialises in the design and provision of custom built leadership training, coaching and mentoring and has been active for over twenty years.   He has worked with clients from nearly every industry sector with organisational clients ranging from the United Nations through to small businesses, including significant work in the mining, banking, technology, airline and contact centre industries. His individual clients range from Olympic gold medallists and Oscar winners, through to artists and students. His programmes have been delivered by his network of coaches in sixteen languages.  Noel is an exceptionally personable person to work with, who immediately puts people at ease with his style and humour, while applying the latest evidence-based and scientific coaching approaches, and providing outstanding additional resources for clients to work with on their own.   The words most often used to describe this remarkable coach include wise, expert, engaging, fun, practical, down-to-earth, innovative, challenging perceptions and someone with incredible awareness.

The motto for Noel’s business is ”Think. Choose. Act.” which references the simplest of coaching models. Think is about raising awareness of what one wants, how to get there, their strengths, opportunities, mindset and much more. Choose is about making wise decisions. Act is about following through, being accountable and learning from the process.

Noel has been an IIC&M Accredited Coach since 2007 and is a staunch supporter for the ongoing development of the coaching profession, dedicating himself to not only his own development but also the development of others. He has taught at some of the world’s largest coaching schools and continues to run supervision and mentoring programmes for the industry. Joining IIC&M was a logical choice to be of greater service to the industry, and he once served on the Board of Directors and also hosted the first International Coaching Conference for the organisation in Sydney, Australia.   As the coaching profession continues to evolve, it’s paramount that coaches all over the world have as many resources and support networks as possible to ensure quality and professionalism. As Noel puts it, there are four key areas of Mastery that organisations like IIC&M provide support for coaches to develop. These are ”Mastery of Self” (growing the coach as a person), ”Mastery of Coaching” (growing the coach as an impactful practitioner), ”Mastery of Business” (growing the coach as a successful business leader), and ”Mastery of Industry Leadership” (growing the coach as an ambassador and support for the growth of quality, credibility and impact for the industry).

Testimonial:

”As the MD for one of the largest networks of Coaches, I get to meet and work with some amazing people.  Noel is not only one of the most talented Coaches in the world, he also has the highest standards of professionalism I have ever encountered and is the most giving, caring and over-delivering person I have ever met.  If you want great results and want to work with a Coach who adds immense value, Noel is your first and best choice.  He is a true leader, walks his talk, plays at the highest level and will never disappoint. Expect exceptional service as a minimum standard when you work with Noel.” Sally Parrish, Managing Director, Australian and New Zealand Institute of Coaching.
