Steve Griggs Appointed VP of Sales for Model 2 Machine (M2M) Group

MILWAUKEE - Jan. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Steven H. Griggs has been appointed Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Model 2 Machine (M2M) Group http://www.model2machine.com, Muskego, Wisconsin.  The appointment was made by Chuck Madore, CEO of M2M Group.

M2M Group represents a consortium of four companies owned by Generation Growth Capital http://www.generationgrowth.com, a Milwaukee based investment firm, and provides OEMs with an array of services, from new product development/prototyping through finished part production, seamlessly, with a single contact.

Mr. Griggs brings 20 years of sales, marketing and engineering experience to his position.  Industry experience ranges from manufacturing to power transmission.

Mr. Griggs will be responsible for bringing leadership to the sales organization while supporting Mr. Madore in the implementation of sales objectives that that will support M2M Group’s growth goals.

Clinkenbeard & Assoc., Rockford, Illinois, Mica Tool & Manufacturing, Mukwonago, Wisconsin, M2M Machining, Inc., Muskego, Wisconsin, and Tri Aerospace, Terre Haute, Indiana, represent the divisions that constitute the M2M Group.

The M2M Group business paradigm is designed to provide - from a single point of contact - Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 OEMs – as well as the US Department of Defense and a wide range of other industries - parts, products and services necessary to consistently win their markets.

Mr. Griggs will work closely with the M2M Group division sales teams to define optimal sales measurements and performance programs to ensure overall sales success.

Industries served by the M2M Group include aerospace, automotive, defense, power generation, marine, medical equipment, heavy truck, construction, oil and gas, agricultural, power transmission and fluid power.

Mr. Griggs is the co-author of two patents:  Patent # 6,663,313 MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR SPEED REDUCERS, and Patent # 6,746,018 SHAFT SEAL.

Both patents can be found by searching by the patent numbers on the US Patent and Trademarks Office web site.

Mr. Griggs most recently served as Director of Sales and Marketing at Milwaukee Gear Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where under his sales leadership the company experienced consistent double digit revenue growth.

Prior to his position with Milwaukee Gear Company, Mr. Griggs served as Gearing Account Manager at Emerson Power Transmission, Waukesha, Wisconsin, where he identified customer product needs and working with the engineering and marketing departments improved efficiencies and maximized sales.

Before joining Emerson Power Transmission, Mr. Griggs was Product Manager for Rexnord Gear Products, Milwaukee.  At Rexnord, Mr. Griggs managed a $15 million portfolio for their Planetgear product line.

Mr. Griggs has also held product manager, product specialist and application engineering positions at Emerson Power Transmission and Rexnord.

Mr. Griggs’ educational background includes an MBA degree from the University of Cincinnati and a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Rapid City.
