About the Author: Melissa Worthing is a wife, mother, career woman and now…author. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication at Creighton University with a strong support in Human Resources.  In addition to working part-time for a national charity organization, she also recently started her own Human Resources Consulting company. Other than her husband whom she has been with since high school and the three kids they are raising together, writing is her true passion. With her teachers all telling her she has a gift for writing since early grade school, this small town Nebraska girl has grown up dreaming of the day she could fulfill her passion and write the kind of stories that would engage her readers and leave them wanting more. Although Melissa had to put those dreams on hold for a while to focus on her family and her career, that day has finally arrived with her first novel, The Guardian: Power of Truth.
