Garden Designer Debbie Windolowski to present free workshop: “Naturescaping Your Garden”

HADLEY, Mass. - Jan. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- For bored gardeners who are ‘lying fallow’ during this frigid winter, listlessly thumbing through seed catalogs, an oasis is at hand: the opportunity to get out, mingle with other dirt-rats and learn some gardening tips.  On Saturday, January 18, 2013, Debbie Windoloski, owner and principal designer at Gardenscapes,Hadley MA (http://www.gardenscapeshadley.com/), will present a free workshop at 1:00 PM at the Hadley Garden Center.

In “Naturescaping Your Garden”, dynamic gardening expert Debbie Windoloski offers strategies and techniques for attracting all manner of wildlife to gardens throughout the year, from the seemingly dead of winter through late fall.  She shares her expertise on creating a welcoming backyard habitat, including food sources and sanctuary for birds, beneficial insects and other wildlife.

Debbie’s presentation will include her recently completed project, a Butterfly Garden at the Hadley Elementary School:  how she planned and executed this stunning Garden with students, staff and community helpers – inspiring!
