Everson, sproles, named managing editors for two new imprints

FOR TWO NEW IMPRINTS OF
LIGHTHOUSE PUBLISHING OF THE CAROLINAS
(Raleigh NC) Eddie Jones, founder of Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas (LPC), announced this week the appointment of managing editors for two more of the six new imprints the Raleigh, NC, publisher is bringing to the marketplace. One of the nation’s fastest-growing publishers, LPC has focused on creating new outlets for emerging and established authors.
Eva Marie Everson, who lives in central Florida, has been appointed Acquisitions and Managing Editor of Firefly Southern Fiction, which will publish stories set in the contemporary and historical American South. Eva Marie Everson is a best-selling author and has won multiple awards for her works of Southern Fiction.
Ms. Everson explains that Firefly Southern Fiction, “will be stories that entertain, have strong plots, and include elements of family and faith. LPC’s devotional imprint, Sonrise Devotionals, will publish inspirational writings by Christian authors. Cindy Sproles, of Kingsport, TN, has been appointed Acquisitions and Managing Editor for this imprint. Ms. Sproles is a teacher and author who speaks nationwide at Christian writer’s conferences and retreats. She is Executive Editor of www.christiandevotions.us. As the author of three devotional books and one novel, Ms. Sproles understands what it takes to make a successful non-fiction manuscript. She founded and directs the Writers ADVANCE! Boot Camp conference, which specializes in guiding and refining both new and seasoned writers, in their careers.
According to Ms. Sproles, Sonrise Books is especially interested in “unique and out-of-the-box devotionals.”

Eddie Jones founded LPC, he notes, “to create new outlets for authors of non- fiction and various genres of fiction. Jones noted that the managing editor for Heritage Beacon Fiction, the historical fiction imprint of LPC, and for Brimstone Fiction, the inspirational speculative fiction imprint, will be announced in the coming weeks.
