1st World Yoga Festival in Bardhaman Concludes today

BARDHAMAN, India - Jan. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- BARDHAMAN: The 1st  World Yoga festival, conducted by the Eastern India Yoga and Spiritual Institutes Association (EIYSIA) in colloboration with Sri Joydip Ashram in Bardhaman will conclude  here today, with the Valediction Ceremony alongwith a Panel Discussion Celebrating the 150th Birth Centenary of Swami Vivekananda in "Swami Vivekananda's Value Education for Spiritual Regeneration of World"  , Sri Joydip . Founder of Sri Joydip Ashram said today.

Addressing the participants of World Yoga Festival 2014 here, he said the purpose of holding the festival was to project Bardhaman globally as a preferred Spiritual tourism destination. Yoga practitioners from different parts of the world joined in these Festival through webcasting and also Yoga Teachers around the world delivered there speeches by Video Conferencing , besides those from India , physically participated in the World Yoga Festival, he said.

There where also expert discussion on Yoga conducted by Senior Yoga Teachers from Bardhaman who runs there own institutes . Yoga Authors of Bardhaman like Jayanta Hore and Rabinath Roy shared there deeper insight on different aspects of Yoga.

The gathering also experienced the deep insights of Yogacharya Souvik of International Fame from Sri Joydip Ashram who delivered a spech on " Ayurveda and Transforming effects of Surya Yoga" which was well recieved by the Audience.

"Our intention is to project Eastern India as a place of festivals and wellness tourism would gain thrust", Yogacharya Mainak and the leader of World Yoga Festival Organising Team said adding that the festival would be marked by programmes to highlight the therapeutic importance of yoga.
