Is Drinking Coffee Good for You or Bad?
The average American 18 years of age and older drinks 1,132 plus cups coffee each year and one company could not help but try and answer the obvious “is drinking coffee good for you or bad for you?”.
When you consider the fact that over 100 million people in the US drink coffee on a regular basis and over $4 billion dollars in revenue is spent importing coffee, you have to agree it’s a fair question. Many people assume that caffeine in all amounts is bad for us, but coffee is actually made from a natural beanlike seed that is then roasted and while it may be arguable, they suggest that coffee is in good for most people. The company stated that while coffee has been known to hinder sleep patterns and cause heartburn in some people their findings were that there were more benefits to coffee drinking than problems. For example, the company spokesman stated that coffee consumption has been said to help reduce the risk of diseases like Alzheimer’s, strokes, and type 2 Diabetes. More interestingly they suggested that men who drank 6 cups a day were actually 60% less likely to get prostrate cancer.
While the company was not attempting to offer any medical advice and they did offer up some additional interesting data from third party resources and posted it on their website at http://officecoffeedeals.net/
In iodcr a statement made last week from Mr. Pine, the company spokesman said “ from all the research we have done coffee appears not only to be safe, but it may actually very good for us”. He added “of course if you have any doubts then check with your doctor. We sell affordable coffee, not medical advice.”
