Music experts believe that the European hip hop community is fading away with fans who once loved the vibe of the music turning their taste to other music forms but now with Ordinary Childhood, that could be about to change. Ordinary Childhood is bringing hip hop back with a passion with a sound that the European music fans can relate to.
Unlike his American counterparts who often use elements of gangster rap and dirty south etiquette in their material his music has a much broader range. Though hip hop is not new to music lovers what seems to be catching the attention of so many people is the singer’s ability to create unique music with his range and versatility. With songs like “NO LOVE” the artist is capable of crossing hip hop with reggae and R & B on to of an edm/dub/dub step instrumental and wraps it up into a phonically correct package that can attract the listeners.
The singer has a smooth, suave style and is definitely eye candy for the ladies which are clearly evident when you see the response from his women supporters. Influenced by a wide range of hip hop, Dancehall and Reggae artists including Bob Marley and LL Cool J, he gained his first success with the self-release of his mix tape entitled “Serious Issue” in December 2005. Since then he has released a number of dubplates and a string of singles that include Unconditional, Never Leave Me, Hello Again, Nobody, Masterpiece, Life in the Ghetto featuring Leo Tan, Love Letter featuring Kokee, Revelations featuring Mamadee and Let’s Get Closer just to name a few.
