ATLANTA - Jan. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- On January 11, 2014, Atlanta will host its annual Georgia Entertainment Gala at the Georgia World Congress Center. The gala is designed to bring the Georgia Entertainment Industry out for a night of entertainment and fun while giving back to the Community. The event will be a night of immaculate excellence set to the backdrop of the Roaring 1920’s. The night will be complete with all participants decked in 1920’s regalia. The Gala celebrates the immense talent that Georgia has to offer to the entertainment industry.

One of this year’s nominees for People to Watch in Georgia Entertainment Industry Award is Supremacy Films Duo, producer Errol Sadler; and director Brandon “TwoMill” Thaxton. For the past few years Supremacy Films has made their mark on the Georgia film industry. In 2009, Errol made his producer debut with “Eros”, a short dramatic thriller which received a Comcast On-demand distribution deal. Sadler has partnered with Last Looks Inc. to produce four short films “Up In Smoke”, “No Crime”, “Letters to a Father”, and “Prognosis”. These films have been part of numerous film festivals such as the, Brooklyn Short Film Festival (BSFF), Long Island Film Festival (LIFF), Manhattan Film Festival (MIFF), Peachtree Village International Film Festival (PVIFF) Rome International Film Festival (RIFF), and the Women in Film and Television (WIFTA).  Director Brandon Thaxton was the co-host of Lisa Knight and the Round Table, a teen talk show broadcast over the Black Family Channel. He wrote and Co-hosted a few of the shows and as a result, this show received a NAMIC Award in 2004 in the category of Best Children’s Show. In 2004, this same award was shared with “That’s So Raven”. In 2005, he went on to hosting “Thousand Dollar Bee” on the Road, also produced by the Black Family Channel. Some of Thaxton’s recent music video projects include 2 Chainz, Dillon Sacks, and D Woods which are currently running on MTV2 and MTV Jams. Thaxton also directed “The 48 Hour Film Showdown”, which was broadcasted on Halogen TV and won best film. Two episodes that Thaxton directed from the web series Horror Hotel are recent official selections of the LA Web Series Festival 2014.

This duo has also worked with other Georgia Entertainment Gala Nominees. Supremacy collaborated with Outstanding Achievement nominee Georgia Pierre for the films “No Crime” and “Prognosis”. Sadler is also listed as Producer on “Echoes” an official selection by the Cannes Film Festival 2013 by Short Film and Web Series nominees Dianne Ashford and Crystle C. Roberson. Best Actor nominee E. Roger Mitchell is starring in the summer release “Curveball” starring Rockmond Dunbar and Lynn Whitfield.
