Christian Phyfier & Global Phenomz Stays Moving Into 2014, Exclusive Interview
New Business Analysis: Picking the brain of CEO Christian Phyfier
Read his interview below:
New Business Analysis: Why do you think you have received so much interest and success in a short period of time?
Christian Phyfier: This company is built on passion, not so much education, or money or a huge investor, simply passion. When you give people an opportunity to live their dreams, even if it is in the start-up phases of a company, and give them the ability to be fluid with their creativity, things like this happen. The fact that I refuse to lose, and have a very intrusive, belligerent, make a door where there’s a wall, tactical company strategy I think is what gives these individuals faith in me. There is two things I know, that I will succeed or I’m going to die, when you give yourself only those options, there really is nothing that can hold you back. You begin to do things regardless of embarrassment, your fears are clouded with desire, because in a sense, what’s worse than death, whats the worst thats going to happen? Someone tells me no? They'll regret that.
New Business Analysis: What do you feel is different about you as a CEO than other CEOs.
Christian Phyfier: Umm I don’t know, I just do what’s inside of me to do. We all have different hustles and abilities in life. I am happy to say my choices in life this far have lead me to have no kids, no wife, and given me every opportunity to focus on my success and the things that matter most. So to answer the question, I think the difference between me and most is I am willing to sacrifice more emotion, fun, and lifestyle for my success. Maybe. . . . I don’t know. . . I go out once every 6 months, if that, and there are probably people out there who say that’s way too much. (Laughing) I think treating business the same way great athletes treat their sports is one of my differences. Like one of my idols, Floyd Mayweather. When you work that hard, and dedicate yourself to something in effort to be the best, you have a bragging right, you can be a little arrogant. I’ve trained my entire life to be this way, I love business, the same way Floyd loves boxing.
New Business Analysis: What do you plan to do different in the 2014 year?
Christian Phyfier: Different. . .Well other than it being a new fiscal year, my hustle only gets more in depth. Learn from my mistakes of 2013 and open new doors. I work hard as if I thought of this company yesterday, and I didn’t know the people I know, and haven’t done the things I have done. I plan to continue to adapt to new changes growing around us while remaining firm and strong in our company values.
New Business Analysis: Any goals for the end of 2014?
Christian Phyfier: Lots, quadruple what we did in 2013 as far as brand recognition. Get our apparel to an entirely new level and introduce gymdividuals to a new more comfortable way to work out. Definitely like to see the production company booked up, as they are now. I’d like to see everyone on my team enjoying their lives doing what they are meant to do on this earth. I’d like to see every business we touch or help reach limits that the owner never dreamed.
New Business Analysis: So what about personal goals?
Christian Phyfier: My personal goals coincide with my business goals for the most part, my company is I and I am my company. But I do want to reach more young adults with my public speaking events as they leave high school and come into the real world. I believe one of the most substantial things I can give most individuals today is the image of a person who is no different from them, just who made good choices and followed his passion and dreams.
New Business Analysis: So for 2014, you’ll be 26 years old, you have no plans for wife or kids?
Christian Phyfier: (laughing) I thought this was called New Business Analysis not Personal Life Analysis. (laughing) Just kidding, um, no. I don’t really plan for those things. My business is only two years old and it’s way too young for a wife and kids. (laughing) It takes a sacrifice from the fleshly desires, but it’ll be worth it. But again, I don't plan those things. I will say it takes a very special type of woman to be with me and represent me as a person, its not an easy thing to do.
New Business Analysis: What keeps you moving forward?
Christian Phyfier: Man a lot. . . In no particular order, my mom, who is probably one of the most deserving individuals of a good comfortable lifestyle, god, family, siblings, success, my team, the idea of comfort, my future wife and kids (laughing), my close friends who love, motivate and believe in me. The idea of my future being whatever I want to make it, my god given ability to create. Leaving behind a legacy for people to benefit from long after I am gone. Life isn’t worth living if you aren’t helping others to me, and the good thing about that is you can’t help others unless you are over flowing with love and gratitude, so knowing that I desire to help, I know I will be taking care of in the midst as well.
New Business Analysis: My final question, if you could tell the younger version of you something what would you say?
Christian Phyfier: You are a genius beyond all means, you are different and it turns out to be a great thing. Keep doing you, keep moving forward and don’t worry about your mistakes, the feeling of regret and pain doesn’t last long, and they make you into a person with a great mindset, thick skin and great understanding of other individuals. For anyone else who’s out there young, confused and just wanting more, be proactive with your thoughts. Meaning, don’t look for a person, place or thing for the answer about who you are and what you want to be, all of it is within you. You are made from something more powerful than you could imagine, take the time to find that power and find your genius.
