-- The term “party animal” is taking on a new twist on Saturday February 15th as grapestobottles takes its wine tasting social gathering to an unusual setting -- the Milwaukee County Zoo.
Acting upon its motto of “The best wines we drink are the ones we drink with friends,” grapestobottles is hosting a Taste of Spain Wine Tasting at the Zoofari Conference Center at the Milwaukee County Zoo. Guest will be provided with the unique opportunity to socialize while sampling 24 of Spain’s greatest wines -- including Valdepenas, favored by the likes of Hemingway and Unamuno.
The Taste of Spain Wine Tasting at the Milwaukee County Zoo (which, along with the 24 wines, is quite a mouthful), is a featured pop-up event on Pop-Up Republic’s national pop-up directory. According to PopUp Republic’s CEO, Jeremy Baras, “grapestobottles epitomizes what makes pop-up events so appealing. They find a great setting, great wines, and make a great social event out of it,” he said. Baras said that grapestobottles events always sell out, so he recommends that those who are interested hurry to purchase tickets. A full profile of the event, including the times, cost, and the wines that will be offered, can be found at http://www.popuprepublic.com/milwaukee-pop-up-events/4077...
Baras also noted one other unusual part of the wine-tasting event: According to the company, guests who over-imbibe will be locked in animal cages.
