-- I’m sure many would agree that the world is changing fast. If you don’t change your business, and your marketing, to keep up with changing times you can easily become another failure statistic. Just think about it, around 5/6 years ago MySpace was all the rage and extremely popular amongst businesses and individuals. However, fast-forward to now and its usage has dropped dramatically, you hardly ever hear about it anymore. You never run into a business owner giving MySpace any time or thought now.
Ways to promote your business or product are constantly evolving so your business must evolve too if it stands a chance in a fast paced market. Managing Director of Empire Initiative Maidstone, offers his advice on how you can prepare for 2014 and creating and executing your business guide to making your business a success.
“Towards the end of the year I review it. I make a list of what worked and didn’t work in that year. After all, the saying goes ‘those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it’ right? So take a step back and look at where your business has been. For those times that something didn’t quite work, consider why. Ask yourself a series of questions to determine what techniques you leave behind and what to bring forward into the New Year. Think of what did work. Was it the right timing, the right offer, the right target market? Reviewing your year is key to understanding what will work for your business in the New Year” commented Jason Coat, Managing Director of Empire Initiative Maidstone.
Another tip provided by Jason Coat of Empire Initiative Maidstone is to freshen things up a little. Maybe it’s your website where you had some goals for the year or a new splash of colour or layout. Maybe it could be your office and you rearrange it or add a few decorative items. Or even focus on you. Do something you love outside of work, get some exercise every day, and make time for friends and family. You’ll be more successful, and happier both in your personal life and professional.
Empire Initiative Maidstone are currently one of the leading direct marketing firms in the UK. After a successful expansion from Edinburgh, Scotland in 2013, Empire Initiative’s Managing Director, Jason Coat, looks to a possible expansion into another large UK city sometime in 2014.
