A new set of enthusiastic interns is starting off the year at Rand with positive attitudes and the desire to improve themselves and their job opportunities. These interns will learn alongside seasoned professionals who have many years’ of experience and excellence in their respective positions. It is our strong hope that this opportunity provides a gateway for these talented young men and women to be employed in the exciting and growing field of IT consulting, Business Development, Internet Marketing, Web Design, Graphic Design and their related fields.

Quote from Seth Rand:

"We heard there were a half dozen young adults in our community that wanted to have careers in the creative or IT industries, but that they were having a difficult time finding an opportunity to gain experience. After meeting these enthusiastic young adults, we were excited to offer each of them the opportunity they were looking for." said Seth Rand, CEO of Rand Internet Marketing.

While working with the Urban League of Broward County through their AEIOU and UYEP programs and the Workforce One WEP program, Rand Internet Marketing was able to get the first three started on December 23rd, with the next two starting on January 8th. This will be a 13 week trial program, towards the end of which Rand Internet Marketing will evaluate and potentially retain some of these young adults, while considering giving a similar opportunity to some new young men and woman.

The Urban League of Broward County’s AEIOU program serves youth ages 16-21, who are out of school.  The program components include referral to occupational skills training through an Individual Training Account (ITA) in alignment with their professional career goals. The goal of the program is to help them become career ready.
