Dutch investor (Icecat) takes 50% stake in global collector of product reviews
The Dutch Internet investor Netvalue – who also operates the global product content syndicator Icecat - takes a 50% stake in Swedish FMP Publishing AB, which runs Testseek.com.
Testseek.com CEO, Fredrik Engdahl, sees "Netvalue and Icecat as a leader in the field of product data that gives TestSeek access to a large customer base of hundreds of manufacturers and thousands of webshops and other ecommerce users. In this way, TestSeek can stand out from the competition."
Martijn Hoogeveen, Netvalue investor and CEO of Icecat expects that “the integration of Test Seek reviews with Icecat rich product content gives ecommerce companies an advantage in serving consumers and business buyers. Customers do not just want to understand what they are buying, but also want to have the assurance that they are buying a product that has been rated the best by the market."
