Vincent Manfredi is running for Maricopa City Council

MARICOPA, Ariz. - Jan. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- With many years of management, training and volunteer experience Vincent, feels he is qualified to bring a new paradigm to the City Council of Maricopa. He sees the ongoing stagnation of new business startups as motivations to run for office. According to Mr. Manfredi "Economic development in Maricopa is my top priority." He adds, we need to make it easier for people to come to Maricopa and get their business off the ground fast."

Vincent Manfredi, has also spoken out on many issues facing Maricopa, like the need to partner with MUSD regarding our children’s education and the need to create an uninterrupted pathway from north Maricopa and the south via an overpass at the railroad tracks. Vincent has lived in Maricopa since moving with his wife and three daughters in 2010. Since then he has jumped in with both feet and has volunteered with many local charities and organizations, including the city itself. He has:

-Served on the Zoning Code Rewrite Task Force, to help bring the Maricopa Zoning Code up to date.
-Volunteered on the Board of the Maricopa Babe Ruth League as V.P. of Softball Operations.
-Served on the Board of Adjustments for the City of Maricopa
-Volunteered to complete two separate vacancies on the Maricopa Unified School Districts Governing Board.
-Started a Facebook group which brings together people from every background to ride and foster a sense of community.
-Organized and participated in fundraisers for different charities throughout Maricopa.
-Participated in the Small Business Training "Critical Skills", classes offered by the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce
-Participated in the Leadership Academy offered through the City of Maricopa.
-Volunteered with the Maricopa Little League (http://www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?sid=732597403&amp...).
-Worked on numerous local, county, state and federal campaigns to help elect conservatives.
-Joined and is active in the Maricopa Advocates Program (http://www.maricopa-az.gov/web/map).
-Volunteered with Maricopa Historical Society
