The Institute 4 Creativity’s Winter 2014 Schedule to Offer a Diverse Array of Programs and Classes
The Institute 4 Creativity’s schedule of 35 youth after-school, adult, and family classes, programs, and guided studio sessions to run January 13 through March 16.
“Creativity is the single means of empowerment for all people. It is the foundation of everything that we endeavor to do. I4C is committed to offering a wide variety of classes to help people develop their creative abilities and realize their creative aspirations. Creativity is for everyone and everyone can benefit from developing and using their innate capacity to create.” stated I4C Director, Bill Longfellow.
The diverse course lineup, led by experienced and passionate instructors, will offer 15 youth after-school and 20 adult and family classes, programs, and guided studio sessions. Traditional skills like drawing, painting, and creative writing will be taught in addition to more innovative practices, like: project management, African drumming, paper making, visual journaling, Adobe Photoshop and design, French culture, women’s massage, and jazz guitar. The Institute 4 Creativity (I4C) was founded in 2012 to help people of all ages and backgrounds understand, develop, and utilize their creativity. I4C’s goals are to encourage creative expression and to provide a safe and stimulating environment where people can learn, teach, dream, and grow. I4C promotes active creative networking and collaboration by cultivating a unique synergy of education, arts, humanities, science, technology, and ecology.
