International Floral Distributors Trend Forcast 2014 Released

PORTLAND, Ore. - Jan. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- David Kesler AIFD PFCI, Creative Director of the Floral Design Institute was joined by floral artists Kristine Kratt AIFD and Bill Schaffer AIFD in late July at the Floral Design Institute Creative Center in Portland, Oregon.  Vignettes depicting each of the trends for 2014 were created and photographed.  The entire process was also filmed for a final Trend video that is now available to all on-line. The Trend forecast depicts the most current color schemes, flowers, and themes of which will be in the utmost demand for trend savvy customers.

This year's themes included Revival, Grand Lodge, Confetti, and Aqua Culture. Revival is romantic, soft, and vintage; a through back to the glamorous 1920's. Grand Lodge is rustic elegance; earthen textures combine with crystals for an organic sophistication. Confetti is fun and bright; all colors of the rainbow mix for a bold statement. Aqua culture includes the sea and sky; blues of every shade blend for a serene and peaceful palette. Wedding consultants, florists, and event specialists have eagerly awaited this accurate forecast for all that is new and exciting in 2014.
