Pro Kitchen Gear Company Name Changes to Kitchen Culture, New Retail Location

WILMINGTON, Del. - Jan. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Pro Kitchen Gear has announced a company name change to Kitchen Culture.  The name is more in line with their brand vision and was initiated by feedback from their current customer base that stated the name led to think they were geared to commercial customers only. The change is effective immediately.

“Listening to our customers and team members is our top priority and all roads led to a name that was more all-encompassing of the experience we offered,” said Founder & Owner, Dave McCormick.  “We inspire people to cook, no matter what level they are at on the culinary scale and that is a feeling that cannot be described just as is the feeling when everyone gathers in your home kitchen.  I wanted our name to reflect that.”

In addition to a new name, Kitchen Culture has announced they will be leaving their current Greenville, Delaware retail location at the end of January of this year, but will keep their headquarters & fulfillment center in Wilmington, Delaware.  The company’s next retail location will be in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania sometime in 2014.  The exact date of the Greenville location’s last day has not been determined.

Founder & Owner, Dave McCormick commented, “While we had a good run in Greenville and have amazing customers in the area, the low foot traffic and changing demographics do not justify keeping this location open.  Many of our customers are downsizing their kitchens, so our products are no longer applicable.” He continues, “The opportunity to be in a thriving food city is very exciting and I am confident that our brand, services and products will be a good fit.”

While Kitchen Culture will not have a public location until they open in Philadelphia, they will continue to honor outstanding gift cards via phone order or private appointment at their headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware.
