TICA (The International Cat Association) Appoints New Director of Marketing & B2B Sales

HARLINGEN, Texas - Dec. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- The International Cat AssociationÔ (TICAÔ) has announced Roeann Fulkerson as new Director of Marketing and B2B Sales. Fulkerson is well known in the cat world for productivity, commitment and serious passion as a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive practical experience leading the development and expansion of commercial enterprises. In November 2013, Roeann Fulkerson accepted the exciting position with TICA. This position allows the opportunity to grow the not-for-profit organizations’ brand and further help all cats worldwide. During the past ten years Roeann has successfully delivered on major projects for Cat Fanciers' Association, Inc.Ò including some focused on worldwide market growth, global business strategy, business planning, commercial negotiations, raising capital, and strategic marketing. With a commitment to progress, Roeann is able to apply her well-developed management skills to help achieve defined business objectives.

Her success is based on a strong, disciplined sales approach with a high degree of emphasis on building strategic market relationships. She has also been involved with show/event production, funding, contract review, and execution for some of the largest and most prestigious cat shows/events in the U.S. including partnering with AKC (The American Kennel Club®) for Meet The BreedsÔ.

Roeann co-bred and exhibited under the cattery name Compass Rose since 2001. Her cattery has produced numerous award winning Grand Champions and Grand Premiers, Distinguish Merit (top producers), several National and Regional winning Oriental Shorthairs in CFAÒ. Roeann is proud she has mentored new breeders in the Oriental breed and pleased these individuals have carried on her philosophy of health first, temperament, then beauty to produce the whole winning package. Roeann has a strong passion for ALL cats – pedigreed, random-bred domestics and feral with a focused purpose to elevate the value of all cats.

About Roeann Fulkerson

Roeann was born and raised in S. California. She then raised her family in Northern California before she moved to Key West FL and now resides in North Central FL. Roeann successfully bred and exhibited Dobermans and miniature Poodles for over 35 years winning many coveted titles and awards. Having always had a Siamese since her father brought home the families’ first pet when she was five, a feline in her life has always been a loved companion and valued family member.
