By: TGiF Design It has six feeding pods to dispense with it’s time delay mechanism. These pods are delivered in increments of 15, 30, 60, or 90 minutes for up to 9 hours of feeding play for your dog. It runs on two AA batteries and uses the kibble you already feed your dog (up to ¾” in diameter). Just load the kibble in the top and push the button to activate it. The campaign is seeking support to reach it’s funding goal to field production of the Foobler. If funded the units will be delivered starting in April 2014. As with other Kickstarter crowdfunded products they will be delivered well beyond the campaign’s run. The funds of the campaign will be used to pay for tooling, production, and other logistics. Kickstarter provides a way for companies low on capital but having actionable designs and prototypes to bring them to production. The campaign ends Sunday Jan 26, 9:00pm pst. The Foobler is the newest creation from 3 former Sharper Image designers. Think back, do you have a neck cooler, an ionic breeze? They are Tristan Christianson, Greg Snyder, and Fred Schechter. Tristan has spent his previous three years in pet toy design and development for Petco and PetSmart. Greg has developed a number of products for the feline market. Fred spent a number of years developing private label dog products as well. When together at Sharper Image they began their pet product design odyssey with the Treat and Train. As per all great design, it comes from a garage in northern California. The Foobler is the first independent project for Tristan Greg, and Fred, better known as TGiF design.
