Vermont Social Work License and CEU Credit Upcoming Date for Renewal

Vermont Continuing Education and License Date for Social Workers to Renew
BOCA RATON, Fla. - Dec. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Social workers in the state of Vermont will need to renew their licenses by January 31st, 2014. Twenty continuing education credits are required every two years. An ethics course of 1.5 credits is required and counted towards the twenty credits. In the state of Vermont five credits may be taken online to fulfill the requirements.

At a 3 CEU course on Breathing, Meditation and Simple Yoga for Depression, Anxiety and Stress Reduction can be taken online and is approved for continuing education credits for social workers, psychologists and nurses. The online course covers ways to help clients with mood issues as well as self-care applications for practitioners.

It is easy to lose track of renewal deadlines, especially around the holidays. This week can be a good time to take a fun and educational course that enhances clinical skills and gives a new perspective during the challenging time of holiday gatherings. At one can also pick up a free ten page report of case studies using breathing, meditation and simple poses for mood control.
