Follow on Google News | Team Kary Movers Get's into the Giving Spirit At ChristmasThe moving industry traditionally had a bad reputation. Kary Movers of Surrey shows that not all moving companies fit that mold. They continue to be a strong part of the community and help others in need. They have even made the BC's top 10 employers
By: Kary Movers Ltd & Going Viral Productions Even as the snow fell on friday and people were panicing on poor road conditions, they movers kept calm and continued their mission of making sure all drop off locations were cleared out and that all donations made it to the Surrey Food bank in time for distribution to those in need for Christmas. The company went further this year by also contacting the Surrey Christmas Bureau who partners up donors and families in need to provide Christmas gifts, goodies and food for a great Christmas for those who may not have otherwise had reason to celebrate. The team collected a Big Screen TV, Couch and Chair, Dining room set, toys, food and other items for a single mother and her 4 sons. All of the furniture and TV have been delivered so that it was ready to be setup for the family to enjoy. Further, the toys and food hamper will be delivered on Monday evening in time for an amazing Christmas for the family. Kary Movers and Musical Production Company with local singer Jim Abbott, aka Septic Sam Project have been working hard to collect items from colleagues and clients for the family. There are still a few items coming in before the Monday evening delivery as it is clear that with four sons, you can never deliver too much food or diapers. They even offer to pick up any donations in the Metro Vancouver and Lower Fraser Valley to ensure they are collected in time for delivery this Monday evening. If you wish to contribute to the family we are still accepting toys, food and gift cards until Monday afternoon and can pick donations up. Contact Kary Movers in South Surrey if you wish to have someone come by and collect any donations. You can also drop off donations at the Kary Movers farm at 2225 - 184th Street, Surrey. Call James, Marketing Manager at 778-908-2811 for more details. If you are not in the area and wish to make a donation to this family, you may call and make arrangements. The four boys are ages 2, 4, 7 and 17. Lightly used clothing is also accepted. Call Kary Movers for kids sizes. End
