CAT5e/6 Ultra Super Flat Bulk and Patch Cables

AURORA, Ohio - Dec. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Aurora, OH: Video Products Inc (VPI) today announced the addition of CAT5e/6 Ultra Super Flat Bulk and Patch Cables to its popular line of network cables and accessories. With a cable thickness of just 0.04 inch, these cords are ideal for tight spaces.

VPI's CAT5e/6 Ultra Super Flat Cables are a great solution for hiding Ethernet cables, such as under carpets, where regular patch cords are too bulky. With a cable thickness of 0.04 inch and a width of 0.15 inch, the flat, fully molded cord gives a neat appearance to desktops and wall outlets.

The cables support full and half-duplex operations and are tested for electrical performance. The bulk and patch cords are assembled with 32AWG four-pair stranded unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable and comply with the TIA/EIA-568-B.2-1 standard. Both bulk and patch cords have flame-retardant PVC jackets and polyolefin insulation. Wired straight through, the RJ45 plugs on the patch cords feature 3-micron gold plated contacts and are available in lengths of 0.5/1/2/3/5/7/10/14/25/50 feet. The bulk cables are in lengths of 250 feet, and compatible RJ45 plugs can be purchased.

Available for immediate sale, the CAT5E-USF-BULK-BLACK costs $115 and the CAT6-USF-BULK-BLACK costs $130. The CAT5E-USF-xx-BLACK patch cables range from $1.65 to $17.80 and the CAT6-USF-xx-BLACK patch cables range from $1.80 to $20.50.
