Follow on Google News | Speakeasy Club To Host Emergenza On December 22ndMilan, Italy’s Speakeasy Club will host the Emergenza Rock Festival on Sunday December 22nd.
Emergenza is the world's largest festival for up and coming unsigned bands. It holds concerts in more than 180 cities around the world. It features up and coming bands from across the globe. The festival is held in elimination rounds in different countries throughout the year. the first rounds are judged by the attending audience. The vote is open and the audience can vote as many times as they want and for as many bands as they choose. The final rounds are decided by a jury panel of professional judges. National winners are flown to Germany at Emergenza’s expense for the international finals. The international finals are held each August at the Taubertal Open Air Festival. Bands talented enough to make the international finals have the honor of sharing the bill and the stage with some of rocks biggest legends. They also get the opportunity to play in front of 300,000 screaming fans. The international winner is crowned the “Best Band in the World” and wins a tour, promotion, studio time, musical instruments and more. Eight bands are scheduled to take the stage at the Speakeasy Club; alternative rock band Fly Rinoma, power metal band DragonHarp, folk rock band Thunderbird Cafè, funky metal band WAVE, alternative rock band Wind Up Toys, pop rock band OverLimits, metal band OceanWaves and cantautorale band Antonela Salgado & band.
