VMAP software implemented in School of Engineering, CUSAT

KOCHI, India - Dec. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- CUSAT adopted the licensed version of TechPassion’s VMAP software from Navgathi to prepare the students for increased demands in engineering industry.

Navgathi, India distributor of TechPassion Inc, USA today announced the sales of VMAP software version 4.5 to mechanical engineering division of CUSAT.

VMAP version 4.5, is an experimental modal analysis & FEA test correlation software developed by TechPassion Inc. VMAP bridges the gap between virtual prototyping and physical testing and experimentation in the product design cycle. It is used by customers to perform vibration testing and correlation of simulation and experimental results. VMAP significantly improves productivity of product design teams by not only cutting costs and development time but also intangibles associated with inaccuracies in design.

VMAP is developed with the aim to identify the failure modes in prototype quickly and reduce the product development cycle. “This software helps to test product durability in prototype stage and enable the students to gain confidence in FEA models” said Dhanushkodi, Managing Director of TechPassion.
