Follow on Google News | Phoenix-based marketing firm Prisma creates 3D model of football stadium to help win 2016 bidBy: Prisma The Prisma team only had a little over a week to take the idea from concept to completion, and their efforts paid off. On Monday, the management committee for the College Football Playoff system announced Glendale will host the 2016 game, beating out Jacksonville, Tampa Bay and New Orleans. Prisma used highly sophisticated print technology to produce the stadium replica in their Phoenix office. The final box slides open to reveal a tiny field, emblazoned with "Arizona 2016" and surrounded by cheering fans. The turf-covered binder containing Arizona's written proposal perfectly fits in the bottom of the stadium. Fiesta Bowl Executive Director Robert Shelton showed off the model at a press conference Monday, praising its role in winning the championship bid. "It's an honor for Prisma to play such an important role in Arizona's big win," said company President Simon Beltran. "We are a Phoenix-based company with a passion for sports, and hosting a National Championship in our hometown will be a boon for the local economy." Prisma is a proud partner of the Phoenix Suns, the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Phoenix Coyotes and Phoenix International Raceway. Most recently, the company was chosen as the official print partner of the Arizona Cardinals.
