Celebrate the Season Of Giving With Mistah F.A.B. & Friends At The 7th Annual Toys For Joy Drive

OAKLAND, Calif. - Dec. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- On Monday, December 23, 2013, Recording Artist/Philanthropist Mistah F.A.B. & Friends will present the 7th Annual Toys for Joy giving event. Mr. F.A.B. is encouraging local residents to participate in the annual toy drive to support North Oakland’s underprivileged community. Organized in partnership with community partners, all toys collected will be provided to those in need of food and shelter, at-risk children and their families. New, unwrapped toy donations are welcome and may be dropped off through Monday, December 23 at North Side Supermarket.

Mistah F.A.B. has built a reputation for generosity through his years of ongoing community service initiatives. In addition to this year’s toy drive which has been underway for its seventh consecutive year, Mistah F.A.B. will be providing guests with warm meals, handing out care packages with home products/toiletries, coats, clothing and blankets to deserving families.

For years, the recording artist has worked with community partners organizing numerous grassroots initiatives to serve the vulnerable population of Alameda County.  As well as, the Toys for Joy Christmas Drive, Mistah F.A.B. actively participates in several fundraisers serving the North Oakland community, addressing issues of domestic abuse, gun violence, Cancer and AIDS/HIV awareness, Education, and Hunger.   His events include Ballin' for Peace, Love Shouldn’t Hurt, The Thanksgiving Turkey Feeding, an annual Backpack Giveaway and he also donates money to the American Cancer Society.

Mistah F.A.B.’S contributions, were recognized national this year by Mountain Dew. New, unwrapped toy donations can be dropped off through the end of the day on Monday, December 23 at 45 and Market Street, North Oakland, CA.
