Click Energy and FiftyUp Club to Offer Cheaper Electricity to NSW Residents Aged 50 and Up

MELBOURNE, Australia - Dec. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Click Energy has been selected by the NSW-based FiftyUp Club as their preferred electricity provider to offer their club members discounted energy.

The offer is only open to NSW-based members of the FiftyUp Club aged 50 or over, with a choice of three discounted electricity plans. Two of the plans available provide a discount of 15% to 17% off the total bill when paid on time and benefit from no lock-in contracts, credit card fees or exit fees. The third plan available is for customers with solar panels.

FiftyUp Club is a project created by Macquarie Radio and the consumer network One Big Switch. The club believes that consumers aged 50 or over are often some of the most valuable customers to companies due to their good spending power and because of their tendency to stay with the companies they value. The club realises that often consumers in this segment feel undervalued by larger companies, and hence the club’s aim to get better deals for its members.

For this offer, Click Energy has waived their usual requirement for customers to have an email address when signing up. FiftyUp Club members who sign up can receive their electricity bills also on paper, if they so choose.

The energy offer can be accessed by any New South Wales resident who is a member of the FiftyUp Club.
