After third quarter of 2013: GROHE Group delivering sustained strong results

The GROHE Group repeated its previous year’s success with sales already well past €1 billion at the end of the third quarter. Sales climbed just short of 4% to €1.075 billion, versus €1.036 billion in the same period a year earlier.

The GROHE Group’s adjusted EBITDA rose by over 4% to €204 million. The EBITDA margin came to 19%.

The German market, which brings in 15% of sales, likewise generated healthy results in the first nine months of the year, with 5% growth in sales.

At €539 million, the European market accounts for 50% of total sales. This is followed by Asia with 33%. The strongest growth markets were America with 19% sales growth and the Middle East/Africa region with a 13% increase.
