Docugem Releases and Electric Ream Cutter

Dec. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Docugem, an American paper-handling equipment company, has released its first automated electric paper and ream cutting machine, the DocuGem R1750E.  The machine is designed to save  time and labor, and is suitable for use in churches and synagogues, print shops, educational institutions, small business, and reproduction centers in larger business.  It is recommended for light to medium use.

With a cutting length of 17-3/4", this unit is an electric cutter that can handle up to 350 sheets of 20lb paper at one time.  A laser-guided mechanism provides precision cutting, and the cutting operation is automated.  The clamp operation and back gauge is manual.

This economical ream cutting machine includes a stand with an enclosed cabinet and a door that provides interior storage space of 18" x 22" x 25".    Users can cut a stack up to 1 1/2" thick stack, and media includes paper, card stock, photographic film and laminating film.

The features and functions  available with the DocuGem R1750E paper cutter would cost about twice as much from another brand, such as MBM.  The DocuGem R1750E is available from Magnolia Office for under $2,500.
