Hong Kong Enterprises Provide Opportunities To Grow Our Children

NORTH POINT, Hong Kong - Dec. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- To let students learn more practical job knowledge and skills, a number of enterprises have provided an array of placement and internship opportunities for students from different schools and colleges. To reward those enterprises, The Hong Kong General Chamber of Small & Medium Business successfully held the Partner Employer Award Ceremony in last week. Many corporate representatives attended this grateful event.

Mr. Matthew Cheung, GBS, JP, Secretary of Labour and Welfare Department, praised the effort paid by corporations in furnishing the employment opportunities for students when he gave the keynote speech.

The department heads from companies in different sectors shared and commented on the working performance of students at the ceremony too.

The representative from Kai Shing Management Services Limited praised students used creative format for presentation. ‘It is surprised and impressive that students shoot a short video for presenting their ideas.’

Positive comments have also been given by the representative from Swire Travel too. ‘They are enthusiastic and energetic that bring new ideas to company’, said Christina, the Assistant Manager in Human Resources and Administration.

All the guests supported their companies were willing to provide placement and other employment opportunities for students in the coming year. More support would be given as well. Therefore, students can know more about their working environment and adapt to it more easily.
