By: Masters Academy Plymouth
Master St'James Black Belt Academy has long been know as one of the UK leading and most progressive martial arts academies in the country.
The owners of the Academy have decided to change its name to fit with the growing trends in martial arts. This will allow them to reach a wider audience and ultimately enrich peoples lives by experiencing the benefits martial arts training has to offer.
The Academy has been teaching martial arts in Plymouth for over 12 years, and in that time has helped hundreds of people improve their lives.
Originally named after it's founder Anton St'James, the Academy was his way of helping as many people as possible through his knowledge of the martial arts.
In that time the Academy has undergone a number of significant changes, always with the goal of helping more people.
The name change is just the latest change that will provide a more cohesive and superior service for its customers.
Head Coach Tom Barlow quotes “With the modern evolution of martial arts and its effect on upon the demographic, so must we change and evolve as a business to adapt to this up rise in the popularity in certain modern styles”.
Change and adaptability is important for both a martial artist and business. It is a part of martial arts life and for one to succeed they must constantly change and grow to appeal towards the clientele that the business attracts.
Masters Academy Plymouth will always evolve to encompass as many of the demographic as it can. A bright future is available to its students.
Masters Academy Plymouth will still be offering a wide selection of classes for anyone aged 4 years and older and in a number of styles including Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Filipino Martial Arts.
