GATES Construction Expands Residential Division
Southwest Florida, December 11, 2013 –
GATES is proud to announce that Curtis Gunther has joined the firm as its Custom Residential Manager. The addition of Gunther is part of a strategic move by GATES to expand its Custom Residential Division. Recently the firm also received approval by the Port Royal Property Owners Association as a Preferred Builder.
During its 20 years in business GATES has long had custom residential as a part of its construction service offerings. These two latest strategic moves bring additional resources to the Custom Residential Division in the firm’s effort to fuel expansion of this division and of GATES’ overall service offerings.
Gunther is a licensed general contractor and certified Green Builder. He has worked in construction for over 20 years and has worked domestically and abroad for Bechtel Corporation. He moved to Naples in 2000 and founded Imperial Homes of Southwest Florida. In 2013 he joined GATES as manager of the Custom Residential Division of the firm. Gunther brings his commitment and experience to GATES to build the finest custom homes possible with the latest designs, leading edge technologies, and finest finishes.
Gunther holds a degree in economics from Texas Tech University. He is a past board member for Youth Haven Emergency Children’s Shelter. He served for seven years and was actively involved on the development and fundraising committee. He is married to Melinda Gunther and together they have two children
