Capula wins award from Siemens
Siemens has named Capula its ‘Best Process Partner 2013’ for consistently demonstrating high quality work, installing the Siemens PCS7 control system at a wide variety of power plants, including a biomass plant in Bagnolo, Italy.
The award highlights the work undertaken by solution partners for Siemens and is judged by a series of criteria, including project complexity, customer interaction, working partnership with Siemens, quality of project delivery, project commercial factors and technical competence of staff.
Malcolm Todd, Siemens Solution Partner Manager, said: “Before selecting a winner for this award, we take feedback from a variety of sources to get a good picture of who is working well with us and our end customers.
“We are pleased to recognise Capula with this award as an example of best practice in several areas.”
Simon Coombs, Business Development Director of Capula, said: “As an independent systems integrator, we are delighted to receive this award from Siemens – it reflects highly on our knowledge of its technology, our expertise using it and the quality of training we provide to our staff in maintaining these levels of competency.
“Capula has an excellent, long-standing relationship with Siemens, working on over 20 projects with the company during the past 15 years, such as an energy from waste gasification plant in Plymouth, as well as at the mechanical biological treatment plants in Leyland and Thornton, in Lancashire.”
